FAQ

My snow globe has an air bubble. How does that happen?

Our snowglobes are filled with pure mountain spring water.

The water can escape due to heat, cold, light exposure or tiny hairline cracks in the glass.

We offer free fill ups for Original Vienna Snowglobes.

Can I fill up my snowglobe myself?

Unfortunately, not. The globe must be opened for filling.

The glass of our snowglobes is very thin and could shatter when opened.

There is a risk of injury!

I have a snowglobe that does not come from your production and has an air bubble or is broken.

Can you fix this?

It depends on whether our individual parts fit together with those of the “foreign snowglobe”.

"Foreign globes" are welcome to be sent to us or brought over and we see what we can do.

If a repair is possible, it costs between € 10.00 and € 150.00.

My Original Viennese Snowglobe broke. Can you fix it?

No problem. It is important that the figure is still in one piece.

Bring or send us the remains and we will repair the globe.

Fixing the glass costs between € 2.00 and € 4.00 once.

I have a small figure that I would like to have in a snowglobe. Is that possible? What requirements does the character have to have? What does this cost?

Yes, this is not a problem. The figure must not be larger than 50mm in diameter and 70mm in height. The figure must be waterproof, colourfast and rustproof. The production of a snow globe with a provided figure costs between € 18.00 and € 35.00

I want to assemble snowglobes myself. Do you offer courses for this? Do you sell snow globe kits that you can assemble yourself?

No. Assembling the snow globes and the snow recipe is a family secret.

I want to visit your shop, museum, manufactory. Are there parking spaces near you?

The 17th district is pay zone. We have enough parking spaces, but you need a parking ticket.

You can get them in every tobacco shop.

I want to transport snow globes on an airplane. What should I put attention on?

The snowglobes themselves are fine with flying.

Please just notice, that only sizes 25mm or 45mm may be carried in hand luggage (less than 100ml of liquid per ball). The sizes 80mm and 120mm must be put into checked in luggage!
